Florida We Made It!!!!

Wow, did the three years in Georgia go fast….

It's the end of December and sitting here

looking at my water view puts so many

things into perspective…

Our gratefulness for the journey we had and the faithfulness

GOD has bestowed upon our family.

The fact that all six of us are together

was a blessing I was not sure would happen.

This Christmas is the start of the next chapter for The Thomas Family….

my husband passed all his National Boards and is a Board Certified Chiropractor

He will be graduating in March of 2014….

So much beauty surrounds us and so many new things to experience….

One thing I know to be true…..  GOD never fails…..  and His MERCY is new everyday…..

This next adventure is going to be amazing I'm so grateful GOD choose us and we

listened to the call…..  Looking forward to 2014 and what it is going to bring….

Georgia journey coming to an end 2013

Fall such a beautiful time of the year!  I still miss the Michigan colors

as the trees changed and the vibrant colors created a

beauty of art for us to see.

This was a picture I pulled off of Facebook, one of my friends

posted it about Michigan colors....  Yes, they had snow already.

As I reflect on our journey here in Georgia and recall all the things we are grateful for and as the trees are starting to change 

I'm humbled for all the growth my family has

endured over these three years.  On December 21st

we will make our way to Florida for my husband

to complete his internship and will soon

graduate and be a Dr. of Chiropractic!

This journey has been a dream for my husband for years, and now that it is a reality

I'm so excited I believed in him and embraced this adventure.....

Trust me it has been one for sure!

So many things I've learned!  Thank You Rhonna Designs for this awesome app!

Compassion for my husband and his long grueling study hours....

The closeness and connection our family has, nothing can break it!

It's a beautiful thing knowing we will all be together in Florida starting this next part together, working to create a legacy for years to come.....

Grateful for my parents, never could have done this without them believing in us and supporting us along the way!!

Grateful for our best friends and all the support they gave us, the long nights up praying, the talks on the phone encouraging us, the visits they would make just because, the calls and texts just to say "hi". So many things that I will never forget!  Everyone needs to have best friends they can count on for anything.....  So glad Jon and I do.....

The girls at Archiver's that supported me, covered my shifts, worked with my crazy schedule, prayed for us while we were preparing for our tests, and just became my friends, I will miss them so very much......

Now the packing has begun and Florida is right around the corner...  Thank you Atlanta, Georgia you have taught my family so many things we will never forget.....

Homeschool has begun in the Thomas house 2013

This is our first year homeschooling with our children!

Having a 5th, 7th, and 9th grader had me questioning if I could do this!

I can say it was a bit overwhelming getting started.

Maybe it was just me....

Books are everywhere in my home!  I really love books and enjoy everything about education.   It was a bit crazy the first day finding what belonged to who!

Watching the kids jump right in was more than I expected!

I'm really excited to see how much they absorb and grow

during this new transition in our lives.....

Montana has it a bit harder, he's in 9th grade so high school work can 

get a little stressful....

Logan is my intellectual child school for him is a breeze!  After the first week he's already doing 9th grade stuff....  He's up early and done before anyone else is ready to go!  How lucky he is that he will be starting Spanish lessons Monday to keep him busy learning a little wee bit longer :-)

August 3, 2013 WOW where has time gone!

So I can't believe it's already August, school is starting and the year is half over.....  Looking back over these last few months we have had a wonderful summer!  We had my niece's graduation, my parents came to visit me for the first time, we traveled to Michigan, and back to Jacksonville, FL to find a location for our future Chiropractic office.  I have to say it's been a wonderful adventure so far.....

Sierra graduation from high school in May 2013, we had such a beautiful time at her party, so glad we were able to be there!

Me and my sister haven't seen her in years, grateful for the day together!

Sierra and Tyler, these two have been together for their entire lives, and even though they live in different states you would never know because they behave like they see each other daily.

Avery was able to get her real hair wig cut and styled, first time I have seem my daughter with hair in over three years....  Very emotional moment!

           

Eddie was the only one trusted to cut and style it for her....  So grateful for him :-)
